Core Units

A handheld interactive device designed to support six short, guided movement activities.
It is available in two physical form factors, offering the same functionality with different tactile experiences.

How it works

  1. The user holds the Core device while performing guided activities.

  2. Built-in motion sensors detect balance, march steps, long squat, and pose holding in real time. The screen provides simple instructions or timing feedback, while audio signals indicate stability, completion, or errors.
  3. For sit-to-stand exercises, the Core connects with an additional seat-based module (see Sit-to-Stand Module) to detect transitions.
  4. For the NFC game, the Core integrates a PN532 NFC module and functions as the scanning interface, registering card interactions and providing immediate feedback.
  5. After each session, activity data is sent to the Hub for tracking and reflection.
