Wall Sit
A system designed to monitor stability and endurance during wall sit exercises.
The system provides real-time timing and audio feedback to support correct alignment and sustained performance.
How it works
- Stand against the wall and lower yourself into a wall sit or mini squatposition. Once a stable posture is maintained, the timer startsautomatically.
- The LED display tracks the total holding time, and music plays at 30-second intervals for motivation.
- If excessive movement is detected, a buzzer alert will sound.
User Feedback and System Improvement
Feedback
- Some users felt slightly unsafe during prolonged wall sit holds
- Stability detection logic was unclear
- The system appeared to detect squat height rather than actual wall contact
Improvements Made (see Wall Sit v2)
- Stability detection removed
- Additional sensor added on the wall
